What a VPN does — and does not do
An encrypted connection
A VPN encrypts traffic routed through the tunnel between your device and the VPN server. Use HTTPS and keep your device updated too.
A different public IP address
Websites reached through the VPN see the server’s IP instead of your connection’s public IP. Cookies, signed-in accounts and device fingerprinting can still identify you.
Access depends on the network
A VPN can help with some network restrictions, but access is not guaranteed. Services may block VPNs; speed depends on your network, location and server load.
Purchase, activation and refunds
Choose the right platform
Review the price, term and included features in your app. On Android, the separate BeFreePay payment page also offers subscriptions; it is not required for free access.
Check the account before paying
BeFreePay asks for the Google email used on your Android device. Its payment page offers terms of 1, 6 and 12 months. Current prices and payment methods are shown there.
Check activation in the app
After a successful payment, open the app and check your Premium status. If it has not appeared, contact support with your order reference and purchase email. Do not pay again to resolve an activation problem.
Refunds depend on where you purchased. For website payments, the published BeFreePay policy allows complaints about incomplete or unsatisfactory service, with a refund or replacement where applicable. It states a processing period of up to 15 business days and refunds through the original payment method. Read the full conditions before paying. In-app purchases follow the relevant store’s process; a request does not guarantee a refund.

Do I need to pay to start?
No. Download the app and use its available free options. Advertising and session limits apply; Premium is optional.
Does a VPN make me anonymous?
No. It changes the public IP seen by websites reached through the VPN, but it does not erase cookies, hide your signed-in accounts or prevent all tracking.
Does Premium guarantee access or speed?
No. A subscription does not guarantee access to every service, uninterrupted connections or a particular speed. Check the included features before buying.
