We do not log browsing history, DNS requests, traffic content, or users' destination IP addresses. This means we do not store a list of websites, apps, services, or internet resources that you access through the VPN.
3. Information We Collect
To operate the service, protect it from abuse, understand performance, and support advertising, we may collect limited technical and advertising data:
- VPN operational data: connection time, session duration, transferred bandwidth, and technical connection status.
- Device information: device model, operating system version, app version, and technical identifiers needed for diagnostics and abuse prevention.
- IP address at connection: may be processed temporarily for routing, abuse prevention, and VPN operation, but it is not stored as browsing history.
- Advertising data: device advertising ID and ad impression data when ads are enabled and allowed by device settings.

6. Advertising and Third-Party Services
Our app includes ads to support the free version of BeFree VPN. We use third-party ad networks that may collect advertising identifiers, device identifiers, ad impression data, and other information allowed by your device settings and applicable consent choices.
Advertising platforms used:
- CAS.AI (Clever Ads Solutions): an advertising mediation platform. CAS.AI may process the advertising ID, device identifiers, IP address, device and operating-system information, language/region, and data about ad impressions, clicks, and performance. This data is used to select and deliver ads, limit ad frequency, measure ad effectiveness, prevent fraud, and optimize advertising networks. Tracking Disclosure: Our app may allow third-party advertising partners to collect advertising identifiers and other device identifiers for tracking purposes. This may include linking data collected from this app with data collected from other companies’ apps, websites, or offline properties for targeted advertising or advertising measurement. Where required, we will request your permission before enabling such tracking on your device.
7. Data Security
We apply modern security measures, including encryption and access control. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
We retain operational and diagnostic data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above. When data is no longer needed, we delete or aggregate it. Advertising data is processed by advertising networks according to their privacy policies and your device settings.
